How long does it take to receive compensation?

95% of our claims are settled within 72 hours of validation. When you submit a claim, we respond within 48 hours. In short, our cases are resolved in less than a week in over 90% of cases.

How is the service billed?

Invoices for parcels declared on Claisy during month M are issued at the beginning of the following month (M+1). Payment is due 5 days after receipt of invoice.

Beyond the posted rate, are there any hidden fees, subscriptions or minimum commitments?

Our model is 100% transparent: no subscription fees, no hidden costs, no time commitments. You only pay for the parcels you decide to insure, based on a single, competitive rate.

How do I open a transport dispute? How long does it take to receive compensation?

To open a transport dispute, log on to your Claisy customer area, then click on "My Disputes" and "Add a dispute" on the parcel that has suffered damage. Follow the instructions and in less than 5 minutes, your request will be completed. On average, we respond within 48 hours in 99% of cases. Do my parcels require special packaging? Are my parcels marked as insured?

Of course, your goods must be protected, and the packaging must be appropriate to the contents to avoid damage: your parcels will be travelling on conveyor belts and may fall from several meters. At the same time, your packaging (including the shipping label) must be anonymous: no mention of the contents, no sign of value, ... Your parcels are not marked as covered: this is one of the advantages of working with us and benefiting from all Claisy's services.

When should I enter my parcel in Claisy? Before shipping? After shipping?

We advise you to enter your parcel details when you print out the label. At the latest, you must declare your parcel on the day it is handed over to the Carrier.
As a general rule, our parcel protection is applied once a shipping label has been generated and you have the tracking details to declare your parcel on Claisy. If the order is finally cancelled by the customer, you have 24 hours to cancel the tracking of the parcel.

Can I send my parcel with any Carrier ?

Claisy accepts all international carriers, as well as national postal services offering an online parcel tracking service. However, we strongly recommend that you choose a shipping method with signature, to guarantee reliable proof of delivery (required for deliveries >1000€). If in doubt, please do not hesitate to contact us.
