How do I insure a valuable parcel?

To insure a valuable package, you need to purchase Ad Valorem insurance, which covers the item’s actual market value rather than the carrier’s weight-based reimbursement. Claisy allows retailers to either manually declare or automate this coverage, retailers compensation paid within 72 hours, with no exclusions for luxury goods or collectibles.

How long will it take to get my refund?

95% of our disputes resolved within 72 hours of case approval. When you submit a case, you’ll receive a response within 48 hours. In short, over 93% of our cases are resolved in less than a week.

How do I file a Dispute ? How long will it take to receive my compensation?

To file a Dispute , log in to your Claisy customer account, then click “My disputes Dispute and “Add a Dispute for the package that was damaged during delivery. Follow the prompts, and your request will be completed in less than 5 minutes. We respond within 48 hours in 99% of cases. Do my parcels need to be packed in a specific way? Are my parcels marked as insured?

Of course, your item must be protected, and the packaging must be suitable for the contents to prevent damage: your parcels will travel on conveyor belts and may fall from a height of several meters. At the same time, your packaging (including the shipping label) must be anonymous: no mention of the contents, no indication of value, etc. They are not marked as insured to avoid attracting attention.

When should I enter my parcel details in Claisy?

We recommend that you declare your package when you print the shipping label. At the very latest, you must declare your package on the day it is handed over to Carrier.
Our package protection is then activated once the shipping label is scanned by the Carrier. If the order is ultimately canceled by the customer, you have 24 hours to cancel the package tracking.

Can I ship my parcel with any Carrier

Claisy accepts all international carriers as well as domestic postal services that offer online package tracking. However, we strongly recommend choosing a shipping method that requires a signature, as this provides reliable proof of delivery (required for shipments valued at over €1,000).
